Children flock to the Muscat International Book Fair at the OCEC
At the 26th Muscat International Book Fair at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), children are taking part in various educational and scientific activities. Avenue for child protection, which aligns with Oman’s motto ‘informed and empowered children of tomorrow’, is attracting primarily bibliophiles, authors, and educationists.
In the Children First Society’s (CFS) aesthetically pleasing pavilion, visitors can learn about the status of children in Oman, their education, and how well they can be protected against real and virtual threats in life. The OFS, by working closely with various government and private institutions, including the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Development, and the civil society of Oman, has helped a number of children and families in terms of their emotional well-being.
